It irked me that itv were going on about how Duffy would've been a hero for sacrificing himself for the team had they gone through.

He cheated and that should've been recognised.

Well played Ireland and IF England get through tomorrow night it would of been a toss up for me as to who I would rather have faced out of Ireland & France as Ireland would of given us a tough game.

Randolph had a very good tournament...and played well today...

Also he had some good games for us last season...in about 15...he only had one or two dodgy moments that cost goals...hope he stays...

Re: France v Ro Ireland
ROI gave it a good go...but didn't have the legs or the quality to beat the French

Deschamps changes at HT...replacing Kante with Konan made a difference...they didn't need 2 holding MFs against this ROI team...and gave more width in attack...

Also Sagna and Evra were pushed forward...

Giroud sets up Griezeman Goal...and Griezeman shows Giroud how to score from a header...
They sure are slow and weak at CB...

Not a strong French team defensively...but lots of Quality in MF...and Griezeman is a threat on goal...

Re: France v Ro Ireland
You could understand Randolph wanting to be number 1 somewhere at his age.
That said he may think he isn't that far behind Adrian and could take the shirt.
He certainly won't go to Southampton to be number 2 behind Desperate Dan as was suggested yesterday.

Randolph was very good during the match, and very gutted after. Nice to see, as the rest of the french team was up the other end getting praise from the fans, Payet was giving Randolph's shiny dome a consolling rub.

I hope they are BOTH still team-mates in Claret and Blue next season.

Nice to see ITV capture that moment between Payet and Randolph.

Poor Randolph looked gutted.

England is roughly ten times larger than the largest of the other nations in the British Isles.

I expect that's why they are expected to do ten times better.

Wild guess, though

They are beatable, but I could see their flair players causing us all sorts of problems.
